Why don't they say, "Thanks to the use of bicycles, this jampacked city is capable of easy travel despite the huge density of population."
Imagine how messed up that country would be if they didn't have a bicycle infrastructure!
This is not a bicycle problem. This is a congestion issue of fitting millions of people in a country the size of an American dinner plate.
Absolutely correct! This is a problem that every dense major city wants to have. I followed two blogs about bike infrastructure in the Netherlands and nothing of this sort comes up. I am going to Amsterdam/Utrecht next year and will report.
