Terrible resolution and blurry. Most likely caused by reducing the image by large amount. I noticed that some people posted there photos into then text message, while others have them as attachments. The photos I saw that were inside the message body looked better. I haven't been able to figure out to put an image in the message body.
I did figure out on my own that if I take a photo using the lowest resolution possible and then attach it, it looks better.
