Yeah I'd tell you to spend $1k on a powertap way before getting fancy wheels. I know which one made ME any faster.

I don't exactly have 1K to drop. I'm spending 2 grand on a Leopard CL1, and 650 for wheels+tires+tubes. I already have HR, so power isn't a huge priority.
