Seeing
this GTB is what gave me the idea. I have the cash but I could buy a cheap fork and finish the build faster. So my decision is basically, buy awesome wound up and wait longer to ride it or buy cheaper fork and ride sooner.

When I was in my 20s I did gnarly hilly rides with 42x21 low gear and loved it.
After my experience the other day I can't imagine how that would feel when you're tired and need a bailout gear.
