Only the regular commuters are out lately here in the Atlanta area. I think it's not so much the cold mornings that stops people - 1C to 5C is "cold" - but the 90% humidity and wet everywhere is daunting in cold weather. And practically everyone I see is still working out their lighting in the evening. At least I hope so, I'm getting tired of being flash-blinded on the MUP.

I haven't actually met most of the 4 or 5 who are out consistently. One is an older guy, about my age I guess but "normal" physique and condition for an American that age if you know what I mean. He started a year ago last summer, really struggling and I thought he might not make it but I was wrong. He's wound up being pretty tough, and a lot stronger now. I enjoy watching people progress when they keep on hanging in there, and feel that I somehow have a part in that even having never spoken with them.
