regarding origami, it is not a manufacturer. origami, green zone, citizen, and many other such companies order bikes directly from the vast catalogues of behemoth bicycle companies in places like guangdong china. basically, origami, et al, are importers who buy bikes and spec add-ons and colors from the massive catalogue. for example, the origami fox is made by a company that makes or sources over 750 (!) different bicycles and everything else from derailleur hangers to bells. the importer can send over an illustrator vector file or just a plain old PDF of his logo and the manufacturer will print them and stick them on the bikes. below are pics of the fox and the crane, straight from the catalogue:


The Fox is essentially the bike shown above. The Crane, Cricket, and Mantis are our own (the photo of the red bike above looks nice, but is not our Crane).
