Just to clarify for myself, and in no way wishing to provoke an argument
or even to attempt to establish any expertise on my part, my impression
is that because Peugeot was such a huge manufacturer, and because
they made and sold bikes all over the place, and because there were
periodic interruptions in the supply chain for parts like fork crowns, lugs
of a certain kind (Nervex Pro, for instance)...........
That because of all this and the need to keep production moving along
like in most factories, identification of these is more art than science,
and it is hard to declare absolutes that are dependable for ID.
Would everyone agree that's a reasonable statement ?
