Sorry to hear it, hope you heal up quickly and get back out there. Head cuts really bleed a lot for even the small ones and then add the sweat factor and you're a bloody mess!

I nearly went down today for my own bonehead move. There is a narrow S bend with chain link fences on both sides on the MUP and I was buzzing along at 22mph carelessly enjoying the scenery when i realized I was entering the turn! I shoved it into the turn but stupidly dabbed the front brake which made it worse. i quickly let off the brake and got it through the turn safely enough but chided myself on my stupidity.
