doesn't look like chrome to me, more like a later, aluminium bike. Nice bike though, and cool case. Be sure to put a dummy axle in the rear dropouts next time you ship it though, and put some blankets or packing bubbles between the parts .

About Concorde, it's a Dutch brand, working with various manufacturers over the years, both in Italy and Taiwan, to bring "italianesque" racing bikes to the Benelux market. I have a Prelude model, which is a very competent and well build bike, but I can't really comment on the modern ones.
