Be cautious and polite, but not entirely newbie naive in a coop environment.
It is entirely possible you'll run into someone who knows about the unique
requirements of working on your particular bike..... this would be swell.
It is also quite possible that you'll run into a volunteer who knows something
about bikes, but hasn't a clue about the special crank puller you need to use,
or the fact that your threadings are all different and the tubing diameters are
somewhat special, when compared to newer stuff.
Take your time and do not be afraid to ask questions respectfully. It's really
not all that hard to **** up something that is expensive to replace.
For what you've mentioned, just be careful pulling the crank. And try not
to worry so much about shiny...........
