there is a simple machine that is like a printer, the alignment is critical,

find a company that makes engraved tags, VIN plates for things,
dont waste your time walking into a shop that offers engraved door knockers- as they have no idea who does the work,
look in a b to b tel book.

most large machinery have a plate rivited to it with info,
the company that makes those tags is what you are after.

I made a plate for a trophy that has a different winner every year, the plate is stainless and jigs up in the corner of the machine
its like a small printer,
all they do is add a new name every year, its a word doc,

it was that easy.
