New but already broken
So I started looking for a new road bike back in the spring for a 50th b-day present.
Last new road bike purchase was a Centurion Ironman back in 1987.
Thought I needed a comfort bike as I'm getting on in years and not very flexible so I test rode all the usual suspects over the summer(Roubaix,Synapse,Domane, Defy etc.)
None really wowed me and some handled pretty sluggish.
Most of my rides are short and fast(for me...)so I tried the racier frames and just loved the CAAD far and away more than any of the others.
No idea how it happened but after three weeks and eight rides I have a big dent/crease on the drive side chainstay.
Maybe I bought a lemon as my research led me to believe these frames are pretty robust.
Anyway the bike still looks pretty.
