Just out of curiosity, is the dent near the chainring? The drive side chainstay naturally flattens out to provide clearance for the chainrings. That's the way it is on my 9, I doubt the 10's are any different. I tried to take a picture to show just how dramatically it does pull in near the chain ring.



I know when I crashed out of a race a couple of years ago as I was inspecting my bike my heart skipped a beat when I saw that as well.

If it's not in that area, seemingly minor impacts have been shown to do some serious damage to aluminum frames as well. With thin walls and light weights, that's the price we have to pay.
