but you should have put a tag with your name on the frame,

the back of my lbs is littered with frames and parts, some of them are the owners and some maybe clients.
he has vintage bikes also,
NOBODY throws anything away but the owner.



the "take your time" was a mistake,
it dont take more then 10 minutes to pop off a set of cranks, you should have waited for it and watch that he actually has the correct french tool.

I was lucky once-I left a very valuable motorcycle frame at the sandblasters with the same attitude,"take your time"
I called him every month to see if it was done, but after the 2nd month I started getting nervous...
I went back and nothing was done, and it was sitting in a corner with other items that looked worthless.
I reclaimed the frame...and was happy I did.
