Yikes. I hope it doesn't come to that, Busdriver, but it might. If it does, I think I might have a fallback method. If I can figure out a way to chuck the whole fork in my metal lathe I may be able to take a skim cut off the horizontal surface of the race land. But of course, I'm hoping it doesn't come to that.
