Okay, forget the computer and pedals. It is standard to buy/sell bikes stripped down of all accessories for nice bikes. Pedals are a very personal thing so it's assumed the buyer will have their own preference. Same goes for computers.
Only thing that concerns me is that is a pretty low price for that bike. I would be concerned why the price is so low. I have sold stuff cheap when I was hurting for money, but make sure you take a good close look at the head tube junction, derailleur hanger (might be bent, which is a 20 dollar replacement part but bikes have been known to be sold because of it, for great deals), and bottom bracket.
biggest flag, might be stolen. Get a feel that the guy knows the bike. That's a pretty easy one to catch.
Thanks

Hmmm. Food for though indeed. Like I just mentioned in my post above, the guy has said that there are some scratches and some loss of clear coat. I'm presuming that the bike isn't stolen as he's also selling a souped up kestrel. But he also seems particularly eager to get rid of the Super Six. He had a very quick change of heart to adding the extras in after flat out refusing me initially.
What should I be looking for at the head tube junction and bottom bracket exactly? Are these the most common locations for cracks/failures on any frame or especially in the case of CF? Or should I be looking out for something else altogether?
