Everyone seems to have differing experiences with chains but my favorites - and ones I've found to be most silent - are the KMC K710SL and Devil 101 (which I'm currently using on all my bikes). Drivetrain noise also depends greatly on what cog and chainring you're using though.
I got a Dura-Ace cog, not sure how silent that is, but I'm sure it will last long. I'll probably look into either one of those chains.
