Today was unseasonably warm so, as yesterday, I went for another bike ride. This time I was a little more ambitious with plans of trying to make a half-century but between a later than planned start (I was waiting for the temperature to warm up) and the threat of rain later in the ride, I ended up cutting the ride short. I think it ended up somewhere around 37 miles or so, if my calculations are correct.

Also, two milestones were achieved on the Norman Rapide today: It hit 5,000 miles during the ride and it achieved its fastest speed since I've owned it, 47.9 MPH as I descended from Reno Monument.

After grabbing some lunch at Dempsey's Grille. Good food cheap. I love the place.

The Norman resting after the climb up to Reno Monument. I needed a rest too! That road has some really steep sections.

Threatening weather that made me rethink my plans.
