How do you prevent pants from being smeared by lube?
I usually wear jeans/khaki pants on my commute. What I found is that when I am using the big front chainring, my pant leg on the drive side will come in contact with the chain and catch quite some lube. Obviously, this does not look very good at work.
When the weather was nicer, I could simply roll up that leg. Now that the temperature has taken a nose dive. this is probably not as feasible solution.
What do you do to prevent this from happening? I would really prefer not have to wear spandex and then change since it's a short commute anyway. Or do I simply have too much lube on the chain?
