I think I may use his training plan for the winter. It is well suited to the Computrainer and by preferring intensity over duration, means less time per day hampstering. That has appeal.
I did his field test today. Some warm-up intervals followed by 2 x 8 min maximum efforts. First effort averaged 305W and had me puking at the end. Second one I backed off a little, 290W but way less pain. LT has been tested out at 285W - amazing how this stuff all lines up.
But sadly, now that the BFT is done, Unit Monday PT is going to be running. *Running* - can you believe that ****? I have to run 5k tomorrow AM. That SO sucks.

I think that 'TTCCP' is pretty good, especially for those of us who have a life.
I definitely appreciate that the field test is only 8 minutes, most resources use 20 minutes which is sheer torture.
BTW I have been running for a year now and have learned to like it. Not as good as cycling, but if you only have 40-50 minutes you can get in a decent workout.
Are you training for a specific event??
