It made it home ok with no boot and in the pictures is still inflated. The tire is on my brother's rear wheel and he didn't notice until after the ride. Shame too as that tire has exactly 100 miles on it.

I will probably goo and boot it for trainer use just to see how long it lasts.

Anyone have a tip on how to get a relatively hard tire like a Mich Krylion to grip better on a trainer? I never had an issue when I used a Cycleops, but with my KK unless I crank it down what seems ridiculously hard I can break the wheel loose. And this is without the extra fly wheel weight. My KK came with a Vitoria trainer tire and I don't even need half the tension to secure it.
