Fwiw, I dig the chainring bolts with allen heads on each side. Assuming you have those, as I understand the problem being described, you are cranking down tight and the bolt is not long enough, ie the chainring is still loose.
I was tired when I posted that, but this is exactly what I was saying. I have the proper chainring bolt tool, still spins or just does nothing to hold it.

I emailed the dude who designed them and got them machined, his response
These rings are a little thicker than your standard track chainring. What kind of cranks are you using? Are they counter-bored on the back side where the chainring bolt sits? I'll have to take a look at the rings when I get back to the office tomorrow. I haven't heard of this being an issue in the past. I think that I have just used standard single ring chainring bolts in the past, but I honestly can't remember.
