Anybody else have advice on good commuter/comfort/utility brands? I think updating the wheels on the sears 3 speed could be a pretty good option. That bike is a tank but a lot of the weight seems to be in the steel wheels. Would buying a very cheap new bike, or cheaper newer-used bike be significantly better? I had planned to give this old one to a co-op before this happened.
