If you are patient, seller might eventually get down to a reasonable price. I have bought several bikes this year off ebay, that started with crazy/ridiculous pricing. I've had good luck explaining my reasoning, making a realistic offer, and being willing to walk away. A couple of times I walked away, then got a call back a week later to complete the deal.
