Upon further review...I'd be inclined to fix it unless I was keeping the bike as a beater. The reasoning has nothing to do with whether the wheel will run okay as it is. If I was going to sell the bike, I'd want it right so no one else would notice it and think I screwed up. If it was nice enough that I'd want to keep it for myself, I'd simply want it right. In any case, fixing it shouldn't be hard, not like re-stringing the entire wheel.
