Don't need no stinkin' video to show the obvious. Where people use bikes for personal transportation in significant numbers, bikes with drop handlebars, and other enthusiast choice components are seldom found.
What would you consider significant numbers? As the number of bike commuters and utility riders in Minneapolis have increased, I've noticed an up-tick in the percentage of drop bar bikes. Doesn't hurt that Surly is a local brand and that the Crosscheck and LHT are often outfitted with drop bars.
