Think of when you first started to drive a car. Other drivers probably made you nervous at times, but with practice and time came confidence. The more you ride this particular intersection, and get better at judging distance/speed to clear the intersection, the
more comfortable you'll feel. Ignore the honker behind you. It's your life at risk. Control the lane, and proceed when you feel it's safe. Why die to accomodate someone else's impatience?
