Today the sqrl brought home a microsoft surface RT that's on trial loan from microsoft to the company she works for.
The surface actually well exceeded my expectations and that's even with the lacking ARM processor powered one. The touch type cover including the "touchpad" is amazingly responsive and it's unbelievably solid for what I first thought was another gimicky tablet although I prefer the type cover better for the tactile feedback, I can't believe neither of the covers are actually thrown in free of charge w/ the device. If all goes well, phase two of the trial would bring a i5 powered pro version within my grasps in 2013.
