A bike with somewhat "fancy" lugs should be worth something nowadays. I really deplore the way lugs became plainer and plainer in the sixties and seventies. "Back in the day" fancy lugs were a sign of a really good bike. Later, even the expensive hand built bikes had lugs that only a plumber could love. Today, with all the composite "frames", all that is gone.
