If you find some glue that can be broken down by nail polish remover you can put little ball bearings in the holes and glue them in when you work out how you like them set. Not unbreakable but easily enough to discourage someone /not scrod
You can also use clear nail polish to hold the ball bearing in place. It will dry hard enough to deter someone but won't be as much of a pain in the ass to remove as super glue.
