I have already ordered a 1/8 cog for the bike to make the drive train consistent. I've only riden fixed gear once and I am just doing it to figure out if I like that style of riding.

In either case, the I have a related question: I fitted the bike chain to the drive train last night and figured out that I had a 3/32 fixed cog on the hub. My 1/8th chain did fit on several of the teeth of the 3/32 cog before not being able to fit the rest of the teeth. That does not make much sense to me. It was the pitch that seemed to be a bit off and not the chain width. Any thoughts?
