Same thing is often done to cars as well. I ratted out a school bus driver for nearly ramming me from behind because I had the temerity to complete to a full stop at a four way stop.

The one place where I have had a problem in the past is an intersection on a four lane road. The right lane ends at the next intersection westbound and the bulk of traffic turns right at the light before it ends. In order not to block right turning vehicles and avoid the old right hook I take the left side of the lane. That worked fine till one day when a joker had the bright idea of attempting to pass me on my right in my lane as soon as the light turned green. I "felt" the turkey about to try it and put the hammer down off the line and shifted quickly right. No way in hell I was going to be turned into a sandwich.
