I have a related question. I picked up a nearly complete aluminum StumpJumper hardtail from a thrift store in a small town. Dirty but not banged up, blue original paint. Cantilever brakes. The rims were Mavic and all components were Shimano XTR in a dark grey annodization. Looks like a nice fork, too. It's 3 x 8-speed. Any idea what year this is?
