Bikes: 1972 Schwinn super sport, heavy no name each cruiser

Ok I'm going to order some spokes when I can, the nearest shop is 45 miles one way, the rear wheel is so out of round it hits the frame, but with new spokes, I dont see why it can be trued up, I'm going to study up everything I can online to learn how to do this, it looks like it has so little wear the raised dots on the rim for the brakes still look almost new. I don't see any creases.cracks or anything in the rim itself. any helpful insight is always appreciated, I was figuring this bike is going to end up costing me more then having bought a restored one on ebay, but you cant buy the experience of doing everything yourself, and then riding it, going to leave the paint just like it is, and fix everything else.
