After staying away from BF for most of 2012 and riding a road bike and a converted hybrid/cross conversion, the time has come for planning the 2013 build. In 2011 I built up a sweet Monster Cross bike, but let it go on CL - big mistake. I loved that bike.

Plans are to get the Nashbar AT-1 (on sale for $199 - 20% + shipping), a set of 26" MTB disc wheels, some Avid BB5 brakes and then decide whether this will be a one-by or a compact double. I have purchased, mounted and ridden the eBay Mosso fork, and while they are Alu, they are solid for what they are.
