The chain catcher is a good idea, I put a K-Edge on my bike in September, it was a week later that it kept the chain up off of the frame and bottom bracket shell. My other mods are Gatorskin tyres, in 700X25 and Kool-Stop dual compound Dura pads for the brakes. No complaints about anything on the 10 4 so far. It fits me like a glove and rides very well.
