I think that quote would be a quick sale. If the buyer takes his time(and advertises well), he could see $400-500 out of it. As a rider, I'd feel comfortable paying up to $400 on it. Assuming you keep it clean and in good working order, you will see most of that money back out of it, if you ever choose to sell.
