Yeah i know most people do wear bibs or jerseys while commuting. I just feel more comfortable and agile in them than riding in my work clothes. (business casual) I have access to a shower at work so I can ride hard and change. It works for me. There are bike commuters around and most are in regular clothes. 11 km on flat road. Was 8 km downhill to work, uphill back.
Prefer the 11 km.
I ride the roadbike in hot sunny weather for fun, but I find riding in work clothes a lot more practical for running errands, carrying things, as well as the convenience of not having to change shoes/clothes at work (unless I want to).
