If you go a little further south there is big wheels who might have some old stock. I would call them as I saw a '12 at one store not too long ago and also a frameset. You have most of the big shops already.

As for pedal get them from the start. There is no reason you need to wait. It will help a lot. You aren't commuting so you should barely need to clip in and out if you ride along A1A.
