Rim Finish/Color Choice for 1981 Road Bike?

I am gathering parts to rebuild my 1981 Ron Stout road bike with period-correct Super Record drivetrain. Since most of the parts are here, it is time to think about building wheels.

My question is: what was the typical rim finish for a mid-upper level road bike in the early 1980s? Were dark anodised rims common by then? My main choices at this point are satin silver, dark anodised, and polished silver. My first picks, from bottom to top:

but there are others available as well. If it matters, the frame and fork are a light icy blue and it will keep its satin silver fenders. Tires TBD, but it looks like the tires I want (it will be ridden, after all) only come in solid black now.

Thanks for your memories and opinions!
