Yep.. Rode Sunday... I asked one friend if he wanted to ride in Etoniah Creek State Forest... and conned 2 others into riding.. haha Both of the 2 I conned don't ride mountain bikes that much but have recently got into it a bit more. The one friend has been riding all of the "good" made for mountain bike trails in Florida. Not the trails in the state forest that are used by horses, bikes, hikers, trucks & stuff. These trails tend to be a bit more "beat up" and sandy. Both friends said they had fun... One said he would NOT ride that trail again. The other friend didn't really say, but he did say that was a LOT harder than the mountain bike trails that he has been riding. We did about 10 miles in the woods.. Then met up with 2 other people at the trail head in Grandin to do a road bike ride on the paved trail. I was feeling pretty good despite still getting over the cold/flu thing. Feeling pretty good until we did the loop around the lake. Like I said I was feeling good so I was attacking the hills around the lake. We finished the loop and were waiting up back at the trail for a couple of people and I started feeling really dizzy and shaking a bit. A half of bottle of Gatoraide and a few minutes later I was feeling good again.... Ended up with 23 miles on the road...... GREAT ride with great company and... perfect weather!!
