1. As I never said I do not to plan or research (In fact, I wrote just the opposite), I don't think you did.

2. Still doesn't work for me. Curious as to how much it weighs. I have never felt the need for a dry bag with waterproof panniers. To the extent I need to keep gear strapped my racks (i.e.,sleeping bag and tent, everything else goes in the panniers) dry, I simply put them in tall kitchen trash bags before putting them in their stuff sacks/bags. Trash bags on the outside offend my sense of style, although I have done it once or twice in a pinch. Like to keep a neat looking rig.

3. While I may have missed a post or two, I haven't read any details. ("I am going a week-long trip in June" doesn't contain any details.) Generalities?
