No, there's no a tangle at all. We have stop lights and stop signs that we have to respect, just like drivers and pedestrians. I'll see about taking a photo or two. I think the argument that this type of infrastructure is inherently unworkable or dangerous at intersections is a red herring thrown out there by followers of the vehicular cycling religion.

From what I have seen they have multiple signals, each mode has it's own. Also I don't think they allow Right Turn on Red (RTOR) in NL. I know that has to be one of the stupidest things they ever did in the US in terms of pedestrian safety.
