On painted surfaces, I use OA first, then coat it with rust converter as a primer, then a top coat of Testors model enamel. If you leave metal bare, it is going to rust...
Exposed metal + time = rust.

Please don't confuse ebay "asking" prices with "selling" prices. Many sellers never get their ask price. some are far from it. Value is determined once an item actually SELLS. Its easy enough to check SOLD prices.
