+1. I use an
N-Gear Jump Stop and since I haven't had my chain jump of when shifting from 38T middle to 22T granny. Keep the middle and high rings where they are since this is what you use most of the time. But when you need a real granny gear, they're really nice to have (particularly if you are carrying a lot of weight or towing something/someone).
