The use of the word mistake, is too often an excuse for careless or reckless behavior. A mistake is coming up with the wrong answer for a math problem. Not paying attention to your driving is not a mistake. Hmmmm when a collision is not an "accident." We tried talking about that here a few years ago and it seemed that too many people just denied accidents could be anything but an "accident."
