The old parts were honestly in bad shape. I've got the dia compe brakes. the rear is a rolling canti, kind of neat. I wish I kept the original seat post. It was fluted. Looked nice.

Thanks for all the compliments. I really, really like this bike. Mores than most of my others. It's a lot of nostalgia, but also it just looks really good.

I wish I could use normal cantis in the back. I really hate U-brakes. The standard hanger that comes with them is crap. I can't wait for the new hangers to get in.
