Yep... I rode yesterday. A friend and I went the the G.ville Hawthorne trail. He is kind of a new rider and had never been there before. We started at the Hawthorne end at about 9:30 am. I was debating on weather to put something on with long sleeves, it was still a bit chilly. I was really glad I decided NOT to, it warmed up nicely. I decided to let him set the pace and just ride... He set a pretty good pace on the way out... about the same as I would ride solo. He was doing great until we hit the hills towards the Glville end. He has almost no experience with hills yet so they gave him a bit of trouble but he pushed on through!!! We turned around and hit the hills again.... He did did good but after the hills this time his pace started to slow. He said his knees started bothering him. He did WAY BETTER than I did the first time I rode the whole trail. He loved the ride.... Great ride... good company.... about 30.40 miles.. Ohhh PERFECT weather too.... about 77deg at the bank on the way home...
