You tube and park tools are great resources for mechanical instructions. The mechanics sub-forum on this website is also a great resource.
I agree with everyone else in taking the frame to a shop to install the headset and bb. The tools are will just add on to a big bill. Also if you are unfamiliar with tuning derailleurs the shop might be the place to go.
Remember to get a seat collar, stem, seatpost, saddle, handlebars, handlebar tape. If you are getting new wheels you will need tubes, more tubes, tires, possibly skewers. Pedals. Bottle Cages. I can think of anything else but im sure I missed something.
It takes a certain breed to enjoy this kind of work, the people who frequent these forums are of that breed, dont be hesitant to ask questions.
But overall its not really that hard, your not reinventing the wheel, just playing with legos for adults.
