hadn't been out since last weekend. We decided to take the mbs out to Pruitt Trailhead off of 484 near Dunnellon.

We rode from there to SR 200 and back. Just over 12 miles. The first mile or so was really rough going. Lots of sand and pretty torn up from the horses. But, once we got past that area, it was great. We rode through the diggings area of the Cross Fl Barge canal. We only saw one deer but did see lots of areas that had been rutted up from wild hogs. Other than that, it was very quiet and the weather was great. On the way back hubby decided to take a side trail to bypass all the sand. I noticed that there were some orange markings but it seemed overgrown. After we made our way north and then west, we realized we were on a foot trail. In fact, it turns out that we were on the Florida Trail...oopsy. Luckily we made it back to the regular trail without running into any hikers. We also managed to get not have to go through any more of the really bad sandy areas. Overall, nice ride. Next week we are planning on taking the rv over to Cedar Key and getting in some bike riding over there.
